Therapy For Women Who Are Carrying Too Much

Individual therapy for ambitious, high-achieving women in Colorado who are exhausted from holding it all together and ready to feel grounded again.

Hi, I’m Anna Gray Greene

A therapist for women who want more than a place to vent.

Many of my clients are balancing demanding careers, business ownership, relationships, fertility concerns, motherhood, friendships, family expectations, or major life decisions. They are capable of managing a great deal, but their minds rarely slow down. They feel responsible for keeping everything moving and often wonder why they cannot simply relax, enjoy what they have built, or stop worrying about what might go wrong.

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and the founder of Weaving Wellness Therapy. Before this, I worked in tech sales which means I bring a results-oriented, no-nonsense lens to therapy. I use structured, evidence-based approaches, including EMDR, to help us get to what's actually keeping you stuck and make real progress, often faster than you might expect.

What brings women to therapy with me

The high-achiever’s anxiety

Your mind is always several steps ahead. You replay conversations, anticipate problems, question your decisions, and struggle to feel settled even when nothing is immediately wrong. Therapy can help you slow the cycle of overthinking, respond to challenges with greater perspective, and feel more grounded in your daily life.

When overwhelm becomes your normal

You are still functioning, but everything feels harder than it used to. Business. Marriage. Kids. Friendships. Everyone needs something from you, and you've gotten so good at delivering that no one, including you, notices how depleted you are. We'll work on getting you out of survival mode and back to feeling like yourself.

When it goes deeper than "just anxiety"

Experiences from your past can continue to influence how you handle pressure, relationships, conflict, uncertainty, and self-criticism. If that's part of your story, I use approaches like EMDR to help you process it efficiently, without having to relive every detail out loud.

Not knowing where to even start

Sometimes the hardest part isn't any one problem; it's that there's
too much, and you don't know which thread to pull first. You want therapy to lead somewhere. Our work will not be limited to reviewing what happened during the week. We will establish clear goals, identify the patterns keeping you stuck, and regularly check that therapy remains connected to what matters most to you.

Who I work best with

I do my best work with women who are ambitious and self-motivated. The kind of person who's already successful by most measures, and who came to therapy because she's ready to actually look at herself, not just manage symptoms. Clients I work with well tend to be open to feedback, curious about their own patterns, and willing to try things between sessions.

I'm not the right fit for everyone, and that's okay! Being upfront about that is part of doing right by you. If it turns out I'm not the best match for what you need, I'll tell you and help you find someone who is.
