Before becoming a therapist, I worked for six years in the tech industry; a fast-paced, achievement-driven environment that left me wondering if I was truly living in alignment with what mattered most.
During the quiet, uncertain months of the pandemic, I found myself asking a life-altering question: “Am I doing what I want to be doing?”
That question sparked a deep period of reflection. My own work in therapy during that time became a lifeline, a place of transformation, grounding, and clarity. It was through that process that I realized I wanted to help others in the same way I had been helped.
My practice name, Weaving Wellness, is a tribute to my own therapist, lovingly known as “Weaver,” who helped guide me back to myself at various times in my life. Through our work together, I came to understand that healing is not about fixing what’s broken, it’s about reconnecting with what’s always been there. I now carry that belief into every session I hold. Thank you, Weaver!
In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors, practicing yoga, cooking, skiing, reading, needlepoint, and spending time with my husband and our dog, Dougal.
